The NSELA is your opportunity to help shape the future of science education leadership. We are actively soliciting nominations for positions taking office in June of 2027.

Role Requirements
President-Elect
Per Article IV of the bylaws, candidates must have been an NSELA member for a minimum of 3 years. You agree to a 3-year board commitment (serving consecutively as President-Elect, President, and Retiring-President for one year each).
Secretary
Per Article IV of the bylaws, a candidate for Secretary agrees to serve on the NSELA Board for a period of three consecutive years.
Regional Director (Regions B & D)
Per Article VI of the bylaws, Directors serve a 3-year term. Candidates must reside or work in the region for which they are nominated. Directors can only be voted upon by active NSELA members who reside in that specific region.

Nominations Process
Nominate Yourself or a Colleague
Are you a passionate and qualified individual who could make a difference as an NSELA leader? Any NSELA member can nominate themselves or another NSELA member. We ask that you submit your nomination(s) by October 31st.
