The NSELA Professional Learning Committee is seeking session proposals from our members. NSELA's mission is to "catalyze leadership to maximize effective science teaching and learning in a complex and changing environment," so we are excited that one of the strands for the upcoming 2024 NSTA Spring Conference continues to be “Leadership and Advocacy.” We are calling on our members’ wealth of knowledge and leadership experience to consider presenting NSELA-sponsored workshops in Denver. NSELA has sponsored several sessions at the national conferences, including:
The Professional Learning Committee will review the session proposals on a rolling basis; however, all submissions must be received by 11:59PM on Sunday, September 24, 2023. The PL Committee will notify presenters of accepted sessions once we have been approved by the NSTA reviewers. When planning your NSELA-sponsored session proposal, it should be aligned to the "Leadership and Advocacy" strand for NSTA workshops. We look forward to reading through your proposals and hopefully seeing you in Denver as you present a session to science educators and leaders from around the country. A planning document to aid in planning your submission can be found here.
